FAQs
On registration you get immediate and full access to the tuition phase of the course! You can start straight away. Lectures are on demand. You study at your pace. Registrations will close approximately ten weeks before the exam day. This is a serious exam although Tom is not always a serious lecturer!
You work through the interactive videos as supported by lecture notes and articles and homework. You study when and where you want to. If it is relevant for you to know to pass SBR then it is taught. Tom is well aware that some students are rusty in their accounting knowledge. Perhaps because degrees gave exemptions or FR was passed some time ago. Tom’s course assumes no prior knowledge.
Both courses include the tuition phase, the revision plus course, the pass assurance, an ability to defer once, a payment plan of “pay in three” or the convenience of invoicing your employer.
The Plus in the Platinum Plus course is that it also includes an introductory meeting, a personalised timetable, three extra live sessions during the last month of tuition and has seven (not three) marked assignments that can be submitted at any time during the tuition phase of the course.
No! The course contains everything that you need to pass. Prior knowledge is not assumed. So if you are rusty on your accounting standards, fear not. Tom teaches the basics as well as the fancy stuff.
Tom will support you either way. The vast majority of students sit the International exam. It is slightly easier as there is less to study. Students sitting the UK / Irish variant need to know the whole international exam syllabus plus the differences that arise with IFRS102. Students wanting to be a registered auditor and hold a practicing certificate in the UK or Ireland have to do the UK / Irish variant and also AAA as the UK / Irish variant.
No! There is a payment plan so you can spread the cost. There may be even cheaper courses out there but nothing that will give you the quality of material and level of support that Tom does.
